Fair Path Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy explains how Fair Path Labs, Inc., operating as The Fair Path Project ("Fair Path," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares personal information.
Fair Path helps workers understand their workplace rights and document what is happening to them. We also offer coaching, online courses, and professional development for HR professionals, attorneys, and organizations.
Fair Path is not a law firm. We do not give legal advice, and we do not evaluate, assess, or place a value on anyone's legal claim. Using our website, tools, or services does not create an attorney-client relationship with Fair Path.
Questions about this Policy can be sent to privacy@fairpathproject.com.

Please share only what you are comfortable sharing. We use this information only to provide the service you asked for, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising.

6. Our AI Tools
Some Fair Path services use artificial intelligence.
- Chat assistant. The chat assistant on our website is powered by Anthropic's Claude and Coachvox. When you use it, you are talking to an AI, not a person. Your messages are sent to Anthropic and Coachvox to generate responses. We store chat conversations for up to 90 days for quality review and troubleshooting, then delete or anonymize them. Anthropic processes the messages our backend sends through its API to generate a response. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, API inputs and outputs are not used to train Anthropic's models by default, and Anthropic retains this data for up to 30 days under its standard commercial terms.
- Voice input. If you use the microphone in the chat assistant, your browser converts your speech to text. Fair Path receives the resulting text, not an audio recording.
- AI coaching. Our AI coaching service is provided through Coachvox AI. Coachvox is the platform operator and, for Creator account data (name, email, billing), the controller. For the content of a user's conversation with the AI, Coachvox and Fair Path act as joint controllers, and that conversation content may be accessed by both the Fair Path team and Coachvox to deliver and improve the service. Coachvox states it does not fine-tune its models on personal data and does not sell or share personal information. Data is retained only as long as necessary for the service, and may be stored and processed in the United States. Coachvox's own privacy policy is at coachvox.ai/privacy.
Bully Boss Avatar Practice Tool
The Bully Boss avatar practice tool is operated by Simulus AI Advisors ("Simulus"), a third-party provider, and your use of the tool is governed by Simulus's Privacy Policy (last updated June 1, 2026). When you create an account, Simulus collects your name, email, company, password hash, and role. It also collects the text, images, audio, and video you upload or generate through the tool, along with usage and device data such as log data, IP address, browser type, referring pages, and analytics events. Simulus uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, analytics, and performance measurement.
Simulus states that it uses this information to provide, maintain, and improve its services, authenticate users, protect against fraud and abuse, process payments, respond to inquiries, send marketing communications you have opted into, and comply with legal obligations. Prompts and content you submit are processed by Simulus and its AI sub-processors to generate output, and Simulus states that it does not use your content to train foundation models without your consent.
Simulus states that it does not sell personal information. It shares information with service providers that help it operate its services, including Supabase, Stripe, Mux, Resend, OpenAI, Lovable AI Gateway, and Google Search Console and analytics providers. It may also share information with authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property, and with successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact Simulus through its Contact page at https://simulus.ai/contact. Simulus states that its services are not directed to children under 16. Fair Path does not control Simulus's practices, and we encourage you to review the Simulus Privacy Policy at https://simulus.ai for full details.
AI tools can make mistakes. They do not provide legal advice and do not evaluate your legal claim. If you would prefer to reach a person, contact us using the information in Section 15.
7. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We share personal information only in these situations:
- Service providers who help us run Fair Path, under contracts that limit how they can use your information. These include providers for website hosting and bookings (Wix), AI services (Anthropic, Coachvox AI), online courses (Thinkific), workflow and data management (Make, Airtable), MailChimp, Stripe, and Google Analytics.
- Continuing education bodies such as HRCI or SHRM, if you ask us to report your credit.
- Legal requirements, when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Fair Path, our users, or others.
- Business transfers, if Fair Path is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality protections.
8. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our website, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the site.
We use Wix site analytics and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. We also use YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. These platforms have their own privacy policies and may collect information about you when you interact with them.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Our site does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals; there is no common standard for how a website should interpret one. We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals for all visitors, regardless of location: when your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and we will not sell or share your personal information without separately obtained consent.
9. Children
Fair Path's services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Users Outside the United States
Our services are intended for people in the United States. Information we collect is stored and processed in the United States.

Our website links to other sites, including government agencies, partner organizations, and course platforms. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
12. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including limiting what we collect and share. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information sent over the internet.
13. How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy, to comply with the law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Our retention periods are:
- Chat assistant conversations: up to 90 days, then deleted or anonymized
- Uploaded files (documents, screenshots): up to 30 days
- Booking records: 2 years
- Course records: for the duration of enrollment, plus 3 years
- Payment records: 7 years, consistent with IRS recordkeeping requirements
14. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Email and text messages. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email, or by contacting us. If texts are sent: reply STOP to opt out.
Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have about you and how we use it
- Get a copy of your information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information, subject to legal exceptions
- Opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal information, or certain profiling
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information
- Not be treated differently for exercising your rights
Fair Path extends these rights to all users, wherever they live, rather than only to residents of states where a specific law applies.
